Thomas G. Weiss occupe le poste de Presidential Professor au Graduate Center de la City University of New York (CUNY) ainsi que celui de directeur du Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies, où il est aussi co-directeur du United Nations Intellectual History Project et président du Academic Council on the United Nations System. Son plus récent ouvrage s’intitule What’s Wrong with the United Nations and How to Fix It (2009).
