    Till van Rahden est professeur agrégé au département de littératures et de langues modernes de l’Université de Montréal. Il a dirigé avec Andreas Gotzmann et Rainer Liedtke la publication de Juden, Bürger, Deutsche : Zur Geschichte von Vielfalt und Differenz 1800-1933 (Tübingen, 2001) et est l’auteur de Juden und andrer Breslauer. Die Beziehungen zwischen Juden, Protestanten und Katholiken in einer deutschen Großstadt von 1860 bis 1925 (Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2000).
