Guy Crevier

For 20 years, Mr. Crevier has been one of the most dynamic figures in the media industry in Québec. Chairman and Publisher of La Presse as well as Chairman of Gesca Ltée since 2000, he increased international coverage of this major Montréal daily, increasing the number of foreign correspondent postings and the number of special missions. He also revitalized the information coverage of the TVA network, during his passage from Director of Information to head of the company from 1988 to 1996. At the end of the 1990s, he was President and CEO of Videotron Communications, then Motion International, a major production company. Guy Crevier also works for humanitarian organizations such as Centraide and is on the Board of Directors of the foundation for Sainte Justine Hospital, one of the elements of the Université de Montréal.
