Between caste and software, poverty, democracy and nuclear weapons

How does this emerging power cope with the challenges of cultural and economic diversity, sustainable development, demographic transition, national and international security ? Answers provided by Indian, European and Canadian experts in the field. The course is given entirely in English. There is also a French version of this course.
This course is intended for members of the public interested in international affairs and the cultures and peoples of the world, members of NGOs, public office holders, diplomats, journalists and business managers. The school is being offered by the anthropology department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and can be taken for credit (3 credits, ANT6810) by graduate students. Undergraduate students may also enroll on specific conditions.
